How on earth do you write a truly thankful, perfectly honest thank you note to someone who has given you something you don't particularly like? I find it one of the most difficult things.
Laura, having had to undergo similar situations (just wait until you are writing thank you notes for wedding gifts someday!), I will tell you that what works for me is to thank the gift giver for his or her thoughtfulness, kindness, consideration, etc. You get the picture. :) Hope this helps! :) Happy New Year!
I cook, clean, sew, read, have the best friends and family in the world (be jealous), and just generally enjoy life.
I like any meat that's been grilled. Sweet corn, potatoes, butternut squash, tomatoes, and green beans are my favorite vegetables. Mocha lattes and iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk are my addictions, and box brownies are my biggest "processed" food weaknesses.
