A quick note

I said I'd give my opinion of Nicholas Nickleby, so here it is. I thought that it was a rather tedious book. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it, but I have read other books that I enjoyed much more. Of the Dickens books I have read, this is probably my least favorite, but A Christmas Carol comes close. A Christmas Carol has the advantage of being short though.

Any suggestions for non-fiction books?

What subject in the nonfiction realm?

History or theology or anything really. I was just looking for a recommendation from someone like-minded.

1776 by David McCullough is very good, with the disclaimer that there is some language in a few quotes I believe.

The Holiness of God by RC Sproul Sr. is good also.

I've read 1776 before and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would probably consider that the best nonfiction book I've read; that said, I haven't really read very many. :)

I'll have to see if we have The Holiness of God.

Thank you for the recommendations!
