We are having quite a time with these brainless creatures. Seems our losses are averaging a bird a day! Down to seven now, we are. A certain group of people I know who are coming to visit had better not expect scambled eggs as second breakfast, possibly as first.

I am going to pick up a live trap on the way home today. Mr. W. has volunteered to sacrifice a broiler with leg problems as bait. Maybe we can catch the culprit. Did you find the carcass? Do you suspect over-head, sneaky-ground, canine domesticus, or feline domesticus?

Personally, I'm leaning toward feline domesticus.

I persomally am leaning towards a more non-domesticus species. Just by taking into account the umm... scat we found.
